“The Foot Fist Way”

This film, featured at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, was made three years ago with a ridiculously small budget and no-name actors.  Luckily for the film’s writers and stars—Danny McBride, Ben Best, and Jody Hill—Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (Anchorman) got their hands on it and it’s now being released on May 30th.  It’s definitely destined to become a cult classic.  Check it out:

RUCKUS MusicScope - Week of 05/05/08

MusicScope: a short synopsis of how your week might shape up (plus an appropriate song) based on your horoscope.

Don’t take these too seriously, we’re not professionals or anything, but we’re smart enough to know how to give you some tips based on your horoscope’s general outlook. Plus, we’ve included a song of the week JUST FOR YOU that you can download for FREE from RUCKUS. So go ahead, read ‘em and weep.

Romance is on the agenda this week, due to your winning personality… or maybe you just stumbled into some good lighting. Ehh… Probably shouldn’t move, just in case.
Your song of the week: Chase This Light by Jimmy Eat World

You will totally annihilate any obstacles in your way this week. This is metaphorical, though, so don’t try to go all “GTA IV.” Avoid hurting people and getting arrested, that’s just bad karma.
Your song of the week: Karma by Alicia Keys

Common Cast in New “Terminator” Movie

Variety reports that Common will appear in the next installment of Terminator.  I find it hilarious that the governor of California is making movies.  Who does he think he is?  He sure ain’t that guy that was in True Lies, Total Recall, or Kindergarten Cop.  No way, that ain’t the same guy that once made this little documentary which has been rejuvenated into a YouTube classic:

Oh yeah, back to Common…He’s a good actor.  I look forward to this new movie.  Really, I do:

Story centers on John Connor (Bale), now in his 30s, who leads what is left of the human race in a battle against the machines. Common will play a freedom fighter and member of Connor’s inner circle.

Okay, one more Arnold video:

My favorite Weezer song, “Simple Pages,” is from 2001’s Green album.  Obviously, it’s got the catchy guitar licks that saturate all of Weezer’s music.  If you don’t know, then get familiar.  Download it and “give ‘em some love.”

Bruce Willis Takes a Chapter Out of His Ex’s Book

Bruce Willis is now courting model Emma Heming, who is 27.  Willis is 53.  Similar to his ex-wife Demi Moore, who is married to Ashton Kutcher, this is just another indication of crazy celebrity Pumas and Cougars.  So what else is new?

“Yippee ki yay, motherf***er!!!”

Kanye’s Apology

Kanye apologizes for storming off stage in Houston, and also apologizes for blasting Entertainment Weekly writer Chris Willman.

Courtesy of Kanye’s blog at http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/:

Don’t believe the hype! When I started the show the other night we were having a lot of technical issues due 2 the heat. The 2 huge screens on both sides of the stage were glaring bright blue like when your DVD player acts up at home. I asked for them 2 turn the screens off 3 times because it was distracting 2 the show. The fans were not getting what they paid for. I admit, in my frustration, I did use profanity on the 4th time I asked. I stopped the show 2 go over and check it out myself. After the screens were turned off I started the same song from the beginning. The screens were eventually fixed 5 songs in but it was definitely better 2 have them blacked out rather than bright blue. Unfortunately for certain media outlets, you will never be able 2 ‘Michael Jackson’ me. That means 2 make it seem like everything I do is so weird or out of place… they always try 2 make it seem like everything is about my ego! That joke is getting old. At a certain point you have 2 respect that I’m one of the last artist that still cares about the fans having the best time of there lives!  Thanks 2 Bossip and Perez for taking it easy on me on the EW spaz… I did go in a little 2 much on that one. I’m sure there are some cool people who work over there and had nothing 2 do with that review.   With all that said…. “I’m still the greatest!!!” lol!! Oh and I was in the studio with T.I. last night…. so get ready!!!

It is a personal pet-peeve of mine when people misuse the variations of there, their, and they’re.  It annoys me even more when it is a big-time celebrity who is a multi-millionaire.  Kanye does indeed have a serious ego but I do give him props on apologizing to the fans of Houston and his half-assed apology to EW writer Chris Willman.  That original problem stems from this post Kanye did on his blog, in regards to a “B+” grade Willman gave Kanye’s current tour.

Peep the drama here:  http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/?em3106=193659_-1__0_~0_-1_5_2008_0_0&em3161=&em3281
